The cruise ships have a babysitting service where you can take small children from 6 months to 3 years old to an area where a team trained in child care is in charge of taking care of them during the stay on the cruise, being able to go on excursions or enjoy the ship without worrying about the little ones of the house.
These areas are also enabled for older children from 3 to 12 years old to play games with other children, do educational activities, board games for their age, enjoy music and dance. In addition, they are provided with food and drink to cover all their needs.
Depending on the shipping company in which we travel we can access the childcare service totally free or with additional cost per hour and child but being more and more common that they have no added cost.
If you plan to use the baby or child care service during the cruise it is advisable to make a reservation, as they have a schedule and maximum capacity.
