All About Izumi

Royal Caribbean's Izumi restaurant is the best place to enjoy Japanese food on the high seas. It offers an exotic Asian-inspired dining experience, with a variety of delicious sushi rolls, fresh sashimi and nigiri, and izakaya-style appetizers ranging from the classic to the imaginative. The menu includes a selection of authentic dishes from the Tohoku region to Tokyo, full of incredible flavors that will satisfy any palate.

The restaurant has an elegant casual atmosphere, making it a perfect place to enjoy dinner with friends and family. Guests can purchase their favorite dishes a la carte, either through the cruise planner or on board the ship.

Among Izumi's menu highlights is the special shrimp spring roll, which is served with a perfect golden color and is filled with shrimp, crab meat and a delicious Sambal chili and cream cheese sauce. There is also yaki udon, an entrée highlighting thick, stir-fried udon noodles topped with tender grilled chicken, beef, shrimp or tofu.

The price of Izumi depends on the dishes we choose when ordering, having Japanese dishes from 4 euros to 21 euros in the most expensive ones, with the option to choose Hibachi for 30 euros per person. This restaurant is usually open for dinner from 18:00 and on full sailing days without port stops also for lunch.

The dynamite baked crab and salmon roll is another of the chef's signature dishes that is very popular with food lovers. This roll fuses fresh cream cheese and cucumber with spicy mayonnaise, garlic oil, citrus and a luscious champagne sauce. For dessert, guests can choose from an assortment of creamy mochi, traditional green tea ice cream, luscious molten chocolate cake or crunchy sesame balls served with sweet red bean and strawberry sauce.

If you are traveling with children, Izumi also offers a children's menu that includes smaller versions of sushi, tonkotsu ramen and even teriyaki.
