Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is one of the world's largest cruise lines and was founded in 1966 by Norwegian Knut Kloster and Ted Arison, with its first cruise ship being the NCL Sunward which was 140 metres long and could accommodate up to 700 passengers and a crew of 300.
